1) Warranty:

The Sun Pipe Company Inc., warrants to the original SunPipe owner, that all Sun Pipe manufactured components or components made on behalf of The Sun Pipe Company, will remain free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten years from the date of original purchase, provided such defects do not arise from other than normal and ordinary use of the product.

Any roof penetration creates a potential risk of a roof leak. Professional installation reduces this risk to a minimum. Properly installed, even by a novice, SunPipes will not leak. Improperly installed, SunPipes may leak which is the responsibility of the installer. However, if an installed SunPipe leaks due to a defect in a Sun Pipe manufactured component, The Sun Pipe Company's designated agent will, at his/her option, arrange to have the defective component(s) repaired or replaced free of charge, installation not included.

2) Limitations:

Damage to the acrylic domes resulting from mishandling, over tightening or from foreign objects (ie. branches) striking the SunPipe, is not covered by this warranty.

Pipe reflectivity may decrease over the 10 year period, but will provide no less than 70% of the light provided by a new pipe of identical length and installation angle. If loss is geater than 70%, a liner-pipe or "sleeve" will be provided free of charge to renew the portion of the pipe which has said loss of reflectivity, installation and shipping and handling not included.

Quality of installation workmanship is subject to the installation warranty provided by the installer, and is not covered by this warranty.

The quality of non-SunPipe materials or components used by the installer may be covered by the manufacturer of those materials or components, but is not covered under this warranty (ie. caulking, alternative non-SunPipe roof flashings, etc.).

3) Merchantability:

Manufacturer makes no claims as to the merchantability of its' products for any particular use and is not to be held liable for any mishap arising out of the use of its' product for any reason.

4) Consequential Damages:

This warranty covers only the repair or replacement of SunPipe components due to defects in SunPipe manufactured materials or SunPipe workmanship. Any consequential damages resulting from any failure of any original SunPipe component(s) is not covered by this warranty, nor in any way the responsibility or liability of The SunPipe Company, Inc.

5) No Other Warranty:

No other warranty or representation, express or implied, is made except as provided herein.

This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
